FILAC, the Fund for the Development of Indigenous Peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean, worked with UN75 to ensure indigenous were heard in UN75 discussions and during the negotiations on the political declaration to be adopted by Member States on the 75th anniversary.

The issues raised ranged from climate change, sustainable development, inequalities and human rights. The importance of making the UN more open, representative  and inclusive were a recurring themes.
